It looks and feels the most natural, can be styled with heat tools, and can be treated like your own hair (e.g., dyed or curled). The quality can vary, with raw hair being the highest quality, as it retains the cuticle intact, making it smoother and longer-lasting.
How long do hair extensions last?
Both Virgin and Raw hair, which is hair that hasn't been chemically processed or treated, can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years or even longer, depending on how well it's cared for. Factors like proper washing, conditioning, and minimal heat styling play a big role in prolonging its lifespan. Additionally, how often it's worn and how it's stored when not in use also affects its longevity. Regular maintenance, such as keeping it moisturized and avoiding excessive manipulation, can help keep it in good condition for a long time.
